Re: add/remove programs want opening on my pc
Populating the list could take ages, you should leave it for at least 5 minutes. Instead of using the windows utilities, try CCleaner (http://www.ccleaner.com/). Its a great utility for cleaning useless things off your computer like temporary internet files and logs. Also supports registry error cleaning and Supports Uninstall and Startup.
You may have damaged the drive by dropping it or bumping it while writing data. You may have Placed it near a strong Magnet or a Virus has infected it and destroyed the file system. Inside one of those drives is a 2.5" Hard drive. You could take it to a data recovery shop and see what they could do for you. Hope this teaches you a lesson: Always have 2 copies of your files.

this will open a Box showing you all the software installed in your computer,
find the software in the list you can sort them by date or by name
clic on it and clic Uninstall on the top of the box,
First off, when you want to delete a program; I suggest getting REVO uninstaller. Revo will not only delete the program using the original removal method; but it looks into the registry for Left Over commands and erases them from there. The other thing you may experience is, your Internet Exployere has been changed from the original opening page to SweetIM. Got to the Gear Icon in the upper right corner of the page. right click, and got to the internet options and make the page MSN.com. Restart the Internet and see if that changes the opeing page to MSN. If so you may have eliminated the Sweet!
WHat you DO IS Un-install Yahoo Messenger completely from add and remove pregrams and re-install It again , If it"s still giving problem There They are some viruses In your Pc ,,,But after reinstalling yahoo messenger it will Work

try to use msconfig (on run) to see what programs run on system startup. some of these programs may be a malware that keeps on placing trash on your computer. i would recommend you download the Anti Malwarebytes and run it to remove the suspected malware.
Your should try a free program called Revo Uninstaller www.revouninstaller.com/ After installing open revo and it will show you all the programs currently installed on your pc, double click on spy sweeper and follow the steps. side note: some of the steps take a moment or two so be patient.
first go to run inthe start column type in msconfig when it comes up go to start up and stop most of the programs that are loaded at startup leave only antivirus. as all programs will work in normal way as you need them go to windows explorer c:\ right click\properties\tools\check now tick the box Fix errors reboot.
