Question about Sharp AR-BC260 Color Copier

Have a sharp color copier ARBC-260. Have not used in over a year. did 15-20 copies, had a few jams, now have a service code of H5-01. How do i reset?

You had 3 or more jams in fuser section right? Check fuser section to determine cause of jams. Then reset H5-01 code using P*C* code 14.

Try unpluging it and waiting about 15 minutes and the plug it back in or press and hold the on/off button for about ten seconds 'til it completley powers down. That might work. if it doesn't consult your dealer or manuel. Hope this helps!

this is 5 or more jam codes at once - likely hood is that the papers are jammed up on the fuser entrance on right hand side - if you remove the paper then go into service mode and use sim 13 to reset the code

Hello, I have (had) a paper jam on a Sharp MX2700N. I have removed all copies but am now advised to call for service Code H5-01. Any ideas?


after call for service, the machine will indicate an error code like H4, F2,etc. if you can give me the code i will know what to do

Service Code H5-01


You had a jam in your fuser and let copies pile up behind it. You get five tries to get paper through before the copier gives up and throws H5-01.

First, let your fuser cool and clean the mess of accordioned paper out of it. Make sure all your sheets are whole and all pieces recovered. You may need to put the white pressure levers down and turn the green knob. Dont forget to reset the levers.

Then put the machine in test mode with the key combo P-*-C-*
and go to test command 14-Start to clear the code.

If its still jammed you may need a service tech to take out the fuser for cleaning.

How do i clear error code on AR BC-260 H5-01


I don't have that error code specifically but any error code that starts with an H has to do with the fuser section of the machine. It could be the thermistor, rollers, or the heat lamps.

It should be looked at by a Sharp technician to determine the correct problem.

Sharp ar5320 developer reset code


The developer doesn't have a reset code.  It uses a calibration program instead with the reset integrated into it.
Even though the copy quality is fine for now, it can change in the next few days.  You should order some developer.

Yes H5-01 is when it jams in the fuser 5 times in a row, check the fuser section for a jam, the paper jams up in there and does't trigger any sensors, once you have confirmed that its clear reset with sim code 14

Error code H5 01


It means you have had 5 jams in a row in the fusing unit. Open the left side door of the copier (roll the finisher out of the way if you have one). Open the green handle on the top of the fusing unit and carefully remove all of the pages stuck in there. You can use the green wheel at the back to turn the rollers if need be. If you have no jam, then someone already removed it and you just need to reset the code. to reset the code, push P * Clear * on the numeric pad. when it says enter simulation number, enter 14 and push the Start button for black and white copies. The machine will reboot and your code should be gone.

If you keep getting jams, you may have knocked the Fuser exit sensor arm out of place.
