Question about Dishwashers
your problem is intermittent and before you start replacing parts, i would recommend that you do these checks:
unplug the dishwasher from the wall
check the connection between the touchpad, which is attached to the front panel & the control boad behind it.
also check the control board for any corrosions, kinks or burns
check the wiring harness connected to the board for the above as well
check the door latch to see if the door is closing correctly, as sometimes the switch inside the door latch does not make full contact for the door to shut.
replug the machine back and watch for the next couple of days. if the problem still persists, i would replace the keypad first.
