Cracked screen is considered physical damage so it will not be covered under the regular warranty repair except if you do have the warranty for accidental damage. If repair cost is close to the purchase price, better have a new unit. Hope this helps. Thank you.

Cracked screen trying to connect to monitor


Usually on a laptop if you press the Fn key and F8 it will switch between screen and external monitors, some laptops use diffrnt keys, but they usually have blue pictures on the keys to show you.

if your screen is cracked you have to get a new one... what type of pc do u have ...laptop or desk top ...brand etc... you will need a replacement monitor

Does any body know of a guide detailing how to repair a cracked screen in an HP Pavilion TX2000? The screen itself is okay, but the outside plastic-type layer is cracked.


try this:

use gorilla glue and make sure you clamp pieces in place near crack after it dries scrap off expanded glue with your fingernail...

or try super glue but pen wipe off excess glue quickly and clamp near crack

MY SCREEN IS CRACKED


Hey,

the screen needs to be replaced, on your charge, this is not covered by warranty as its considered abuse. unless the screen is cracked on arrival - straight from the box.

The short answer is no. There is not fluid that can leak out.
