Question about PreSonus Firebox 6x10 External Sound System
Connected my laptop to the firebox and the blue (or red) light doesn´t turn on anymore. The same happened when I plugged the power adaptor. The computer doesn´t recognize it anymore. It´s weird because it was working perfectly a few hours before and it happened without an apparent reason. It didn´t fall from its place or was hit.
Hi. Forgive me for asking, but did you try unplugging everything, including the firewire, and plugging it in again?
If you try this and it doesn't work, try shutting your laptop down gracefully, then unplug all the Firebox connectors including the electricity. Wait about 10 seconds, then reboot your laptop. Don't open your recording software yet.
Connect the electricity and the firewire as described in the Firebox manual, and then open your recording software. If this doesn't work, something might be wrong with the Firebox.
The problem you have happens once in a while with mine--it seems to be connected with overheating or something. Anyone else have this problem?
