the noise problem began when I installed my newly bought drive 30 ,had no grounding or what so ever problems before that, had no noise issues with my amps or head unit , after installing the drive 30 a very distracting noise appeared ,the noise goes away when I plug out the input rca s on drive 30 yet I have no such noise when I plug in the input rca s to any of my amps directly ,if I had an grounding issue with my headunit than the noise would have also been there when I plug the input rca s directly to my amps ,also I turned down all the input and out put gains on drive30 but the noise is still there even I do so , is it possible for drive 30 to be sensitive to noise that my brax amps do not catch cause when the input rca s r connected directly to my amps the sound is crystal clear , or is it possible that the input grounding on drive 30 is broken , I ll will try another drive 30 tomorrow I ll also do a re grounding for drive 30 all suggestions other than these r welcome
if you want to try the solution get your self a spare car batt (i used my old bosch 80amp/h) and take the + 12 in from that batt but dont connect that batt to your car ,for the remote connection use the remote cable of your headunit and also use the same grounding wire that it uses for the ground cable u need for your drive 30 ; get a paralel wire from your main grounding wire and connect it to your drive 30 s rca outs not the rca cables it should be connected to the outer base of the drive 30s rca outputs (y this way you are making a secondary grounding for your drive 30 ). by using a different power source that is not connected to my car I figured out that the drive 30 unit needs a regulator circuit to filter the noise that which none of your other devices can catch in your system even if your car is not runing , also after doing that there is no engine noise

Bought my son a 9 YO Renault Clio and it appears the radio had been replaced with a different unit then the original (I assume) radio put back in when it was sold. The code in the book says 1218 but this does not seem to be accepted. I just get the beep and even when holding the 5 button for a further 20 seconds - nothing. The details on the radio are: Model 22DC259/62F Prod No FD0400370187460 TOB370 RN259FY0187460 8200029539TB370 Any ideas on what is wrong and how I fix it? Or is it a new radio for Xmas? Barry

When I connect my iPod via the external usb port, it brings up the iPod screen and the clickwheel, says that the song is playing but does not produce any sound. I have not been able to figure out why, and I have gone through every setting on the unit...... Also, the EXT audio port will not function, I have a male to male cord plugged in and I get nothing. I feel like I am missing something
