Re: No power to machine - there is power to the plug
I suggest that you unplug the power cord and gain access to the control panel and check all connectors to make sure they are properly connected to their appropriate mating connection. If they are Ok..then you may have a fuse blown. Hope this helps..
If you decide to diagnose the problem yourself, I suggest you unplug the washer before making your checks..

Look around the rear of the Range for a long black cord.. on the end of that cord should be a plug that fits into a standard 120 volt household power outlet.
Grasp firmly the plug end, line up the flat and round prongs with the like holes in the household outlet, and insert the plug into the outlet.
In the unused portion of the outlet, plug in something simple like a lamp or any portable kitchen appliance just to test the power is working.
Your Range Control Panel & Display should now light up, and maybe beep once or twice to confirm it's working.
YOU DEFINITLY HAVE POWER COMING TO THE UNIT?IS THERE A TRANSFORMER?IF YOU HAVE THE CORRECT VOLTAGE AND THE KEYSWITCH (TOUCH PAD)PLUGS INTO THE BOARD YOU REPLACED THE KEYSWITCH IS BAD.HOW DID THE PROBLEM START?
Possible that the control panel had failed, there is a fuse within the control panel which needs to be checked. Most probably if this fuse has blown there is a short within the board which need to be confirmed for a board failure. check this link to remove the panel: control panel
If display is not working then the control panel is faulty and hence there is no control on the compressor or the system.
You need to understand the positions of the wiring to the control panel , use a multimeter to check the power supply to the main panel. If absent then the power supply must be checked .
If not the control panel- processor is a suspect.
Take consensus before you order to confirm.
Does ANYTHING work? Sure it's plugged in, breaker not tripped and GFI plug not tripped?
Plug something else into the outlet to confirm that it works.
Unplug from wall for 30 minutes to reset Bosch to defaults.
Still malfunctioning? Main control board is faulty.
Unless the oven is pulled out of the build in section the power connection cannot be checked. normally this can be moved out if the mountings are removed .
The power plug will be connected to the wall outlet in the rear side from where this can be checked.
Also to confirm there is power to the control panel in the oven you can open the control panel top check the mains power which can save you the task of removing if the fault is within the mains control section.
Sounds like the control is bad. Turn off the power, remove the two screws at the bottom that secure the kick panel. Remove the kick panel and look under the machine for a folder up tech sheet. This will tell you how to get the machine into diagnostic mode. Follow the instructions exactly and it will help confirm whether it is the control.
The F70 and F71 error codes on this model of washer indicates a communication problem between the user interface control board and the central control unit (main control board). These error codes can sometimes be caused by a power surge or glitch through the electrical lines. Try unplugging the washer to completely disconnect electrical power. Wait 1 minute and then plug the washer back in to the see if the fault code clears. If it does, then the washer may work normally.
If the code reappears, then you could have a wire harness connection problem, a failed user interface control board or a failed central control unit. I recommend calling a service technician to properly diagnose and repair this type of problem so that the correct component can be replaced.
Be sure your unit is plugged into a 3 prong grounded outlet as well.
F71 is a "heatbeat failure" which means that your front interface control board is shorted and will need to be replaced. it's actually fairly easy to replace and can definitely be done by yourself. To access the part, just pull the unit forward and remove the 3 screws coming in from the back of the top panel. Remove the top panel by pulling it back, up, and off. Then remove all the screws going into the top of the control panel. Remove the dispenser drawer and remove the screws coming in through the dispenser. Remove the screws coming from the inside of the dryer going forward into the control panel, then remove the control panel (it's just clipped in on the bottom. After that you can disconnect the wire harnesses to the front interface control board and replace that part.

I had the same thing happen. I took the top off and realized that the power cord from the factory went out the back.....back in an opening.....across the back but on the inside and out another opening. The part crossing the back on the inside was near the motor and belt and was cut through the hot wire and ground. Someone has to be an idiot to run the wire in the design on the inside.
