Your gonna have to remove door panel ( very tricky ) to get to door lock inside, then try pulling lever to release lock mechanism. then try remove lock and either repair or replace, should take about an hour and plenty of swear words to do

It's internal. Whatever the problem is, it's gonna require you to take the door panel off and examine. I suspect worn bushings and/or bent linkage. Someone may have tried to "jimmy" your door open with a slim jim and messed something up.

You can access it from the inside of the tail gate,there is a plate directly on the other side of the handle,Just take that plate off and reattach the rod mount or replace the handle if it's broken.

Pop the door panel and look for one of the rods from the inside door pull that is disconnected from the latch. The little plastic rod holder 'gizmatchi' is probably broken - dealer or junk yard part.

the only thing that could have happened is the child safety locks are on. that is why you can not open them from the inside and the outer handles have broken . the thing to do now is to use a tool called a slim jim to open the doors . then unlock the child safety locks so you can still use the doors until outer handles are replaced.

Your post is somewhat confusing, BUT with child locks engaged, you can only open the door from the outside, when unlocked.
