Look at the specs needed on the side of the Sims box. You may need more memory or a better video board. Also, many games , for unknown reasons, require 256 resolution.

Why wont my acer aspire z5700 pc play call of duty it loads up but its plays very slow

The simple answer is because you are playing a rather modern game on a computer that is not provisioned for playing modern high-end games. It looks like this model of computer includes an integrated Intel graphics chip with only 128 MB at the most. Intel integrated graphics chips are notorious for not being very good with games (unless the game si 5 years old or more). To play modern games, you need a computer with a discrete graphics adapter, and bare minimum 5000 MB to 1 or more GB of memory on the graphics card. Higher end systems might have several GB of on-card memory (it's been a while since I have checked).

Acer Desktop is Freezing up During Video or game play

This includes variety of problems like hardware related (defection or incompatibility of some components),operating system incorrect drivers, software, memory defragmentation or something else. There could be some malicious software making symptoms like this, or even regularly installed software with bugs or disrupting system resources. So depending of the real cause, the solution of the problem can invoke interventions as simple as reinstalling driver, or more complicated and expensive like reinstalling operating system, changing software or even hardware components.Try to increase RAM of your system , this may help you.

I have an acer laptop with window vista and my sims game keeps freezing everytime i click on a family to play and everytime i try to creat a new person it keeps freezing. What can i do?

I would see if there is an updated driver for your video card; check the driver version and date on the Acer Support Website. And there is a possible glitch in the game and there might be a update for it as well. Here are a few patches I found for the Sims 2 game...

My Acer Aspire 5320 is overheating to a point that it crashes and the fan has bean constantly running when i play games on it or any video car incentive programs

you need to stop playing these kind of games on the lapop, this is because latops are not built for gamers, and the graphics card cannot support the game, this causes the laptop processor to heat up, thats why the fan is on constantly and eventually crashes, check the games minimum system requirements before installing and playing games, you can purchase a graphics accelerator card that plugs into the USB slot boosting the graphics but these devices are still very expensive

kind regards

I downloaded my sims 2 perfectly, and im on a brand new laptop, so there is enough space for my game to work OK. but whenever i try and play the game, it is fine for 2minutes, and then it just freezes...

Most games when downloaded would download with a virus and most viruses are known to freeze a game or program up.
But what mite work is to get yourself a anti virus and i would recomment AVAST 4.8, if that doesnt work then it is recommended that you buy the game and not download it

Acer Aspire 5920

Oh I see. It might be a game problem. Do you have any other games installed on your laptop? How about try to play a different game and check if you can see Menus. Another possibility is that the game requires a high end type video card (high video memory). Since your laptop uses built-in video card, the game wont run as it should due to system requirement failure.

Downloading games and other downloading

well that just sounds like u may run out of capacity to keep downloading. In my opinion I would delete every game that I dont play anymore, to keep downloading more. So maybe that could be the problem. Ah and remember u need to be the administrator of ur account's computer to download stuff, maybe someone (like sister or brother) changed it!!??? I hope this could help a little bit! But I'll look for info!
