I think you need to update or download the graphics driver. If you know your chipset manufacturer, you can go to their SUPPORT WEBSITE and download the graphics driver. For example, if you are using an intel chipset, you can go to intel.com/support/chipsets then select the chipset family, select the exact chipset that you have, click on "download" for the graphics driver, select your operating system...
Hope this helps. Thank you.

Please try this. Please go to Control Panel-Network and Internet-Internet Options-General tab-Delete (under browsing history)-Delete All. Hope this helps, thank you.

I think you need to update the graphics driver. It might be downloadable from the laptop or chipset manufacturer's support website. For example, if your chipset is made by intel, please go to intel.com/support/chipsets then select the chipset family. Choose the specific chipset then click on "download" under graphics. After this, please select the operating system...hope this helps. Please let me know. Thank you.

I have Intervideo WinDVD 5 on my computer. When I try to play a DVD with it, the video is fine in the smaller window, but goes black when I go to full screen. The audio is fine.

Could be your video card can't support the full screen. I reckon you have an old PC. The latest version of WINDVD is 9.

Black screen

you are probably trying to play codec that is not supported by media center.

download the latest media player or google media player classic (better alternative) then download the klite codecs then you will be good to go.
