How do I animate a power point presentation (Microsoft for Mac - 2011) so that I can reveal one line after another on manual command. I could do it on Windows XP and earlier versions of Windows on Mac

I want to be able to manually reveal one line ( that is one point) on my presentation after the other, for greater emphasis and greater focus. So no one can read ahead unless I reveal the relevant point. Currently I can do it if I insert each point as a separate text box.... but that is a clumsy and inelegant solution. Got any ideas?

How to remove a power commander from a Suzuki GSX-R1000 MOTOR CYCLE 2001 TO PRESENT YEAR IS A SECRET.

DON'T just randomly cut wires! The Power Commander is linked into the bikes ECU (it's brain), Fuel injection system and in some cases the ignition system so cutting wires could turn into a VERY expensive mistake. If you have no experience with bike electronics pay an auto electrician or bike tuning specialist to remove it for you.

How do I rebuild the outlook 2011 for mac email database?

Hi Scott
I am a Mac User also.
Ran my own Mac repair business for 18 years...
I remember this particular problem with Entourage/Outlook for Mac
I stopped using Outlook & Office years ago because it goes corrupt when too many emails are stored in the email data file. About the 1gb file size. A well known problem. I use Apple Mail these days. Note..It will Import emails from Entourage.
All this data is kept in the Microsoft User Data folder inside Documents Folder... if my memory is correct.
Make a backup copy of this folder if you can... before fiddling.
I used a Microsoft Utility Program called "Microsoft Database Utility" to fix and clean up the Email data file. Then Entourage opened up the email again and I got rid of excessive emails containing photos.
I don't even have MS Office installed on this Mac any more but I have located "Microsoft Database Utility" program which is about 2.3mb in size. It's probably inside your MS Office / Office folder already. Use Apple Spotlight to search or... a free program called EasyFind works great.
Open the program and point it to the Microsoft User Data folder where Entourage email data file is located. To locate the actual email data file...Use "Cmd I" to find size of suspect file. The email data file is a Fairly big one.
I am using a 2007 MacBook Pro running OSX 10.9 Maverics with the free "Pages" for reading Word Doc's & "Numbers" for Excel SS and it all works seamlessly. Dont have a need or want to pay for MS Office anymore as it never got many updates anyhow.

Hope this Fixes your Problem
Cheers
Trevor

On Side Subject.... Depending on age of your Mac...You can get Maverics OSX10.9 for free. Download the flu .DMG file. Use CCC (Carbon Copy Cloner from Bombich Software) to do a full Clone Backup of your current Mac HD to another external hard drive before installing new clean OSX 10.9 system then you get asked to Migrate your old system data back and you end up with a new Mac and all your data in place. Get free "MacTracker" to get your specific Mac Specs & what max OS it will go up to.

Imac4 was OK but now I get an error message telling me to relaunch Outlook but it will not relaunch

First, start up the computer from Disk 1 of your OS installer if you have it and run Utilities/Disk Utility. Click "Repair Disk" and let the program do its work. If you don't have the install disk handy, you can do the job from the command line as follows:
Start up the computer and immediately hold down the option and S keys. Instead of a normal startup, the screen will go black and give you a whole bunch of reports on startup operations in white type. When this is done, you'll see a command line prompt with the primary user's short name. Type fsck -f and hit <return>. The File System ChecKer will begin doing its work. If it comes up with repairs to do, wait until it's finished and run it again. When it reports, "The volume [volumename] appears to be OK." you can restart by typing reboot and <return>.
Try Outlook again. If it still doesn't work, then open the Microsoft Database Utility. The default location is /Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/ (assuming you have Office 2011, you didn't mention any versions of Office or OS). Click the identity of the database you want to rebuild, then click "Rebuild"

How to make powerpoint?

How you present the material in a speech can say as much to your audience about your expertise on a subject as the actual content of the speech itself. Microsoft PowerPoint is a powerful multimedia presentation tool capable of producing captivating and informative slideshow presentations. Microsoft PowerPoint is a program that is part of the Microsoft Office suite and has been emulated in open-source programs such as OpenOffice.

Open Microsoft PowerPoint. In Windows computers, PowerPoint can be accessed by clicking "Start," then "All Programs," then the "Microsoft Office" folder. Mac computers will install a link to PowerPoint on the taskbar. Click "Design" and choose one of the templates that open in the design tab. Additional designs can be downloaded from Microsoft.com. Click the area of the slide that says "Click to add title" and type your desired title. This slide is referred to as the title slide. Create a new slide by right-clicking on the title slide and choose the "New Slide" option. Windows users can use the keyboard shortcut by holding "Ctrl+M" with PowerPoint opened. Click the area of the slide that says "Click to Add Title" to add a title or "Click to Add Text" to add text to the slide. Type the information that you would like to display on your presentation in the text box. The text box gives you the option to add text, pictures and tables and even create graphs by clicking on one of the respective icons at the center of the text box. Click on a slide that you would like to add a special transition to and click the "Transitions" tab. Select a transition by clicking on it. Click on a text box that you would like to animate and click the "Animations" tab. Select an animation by clicking on it. Click "File" and "Save" to save the PowerPoint presentation. Open the saved presentation, pressing the "F5" button to open the presentation in full-screen mode.

Ano ang power point

PowerPoint is a presentation program developed by Microsoft. It is included in the standard Office suite along with Microsoft Word and Excel. The software allows users to create anything from basic slide shows to complex presentations.

PowerPoint is often used to create business presentations, but can also be used for educational or informal purposes. The presentations are comprised of slides, which may contain text, images, and other media, such as audio clips and movies. Sound effects and animated transitions can also be included to add extra appeal to the presentation. However, overusing sound effects and transitions will probably do more to annoy your audience than draw their attention. (Yes, we have all heard the car screeching noise enough times for one lifetime.)

Most PowerPoint presentations are created from a template, which includes a background color or image, a standard font, and a choice of several slide layouts. Changes to the template can be saved to a "master slide," which stores the main slide theme used in the presentation. When changes are made to the master slide, such as choosing a new background image, the changes are propagated to all the other slides. This keeps a uniform look among all the slides in the presentation.

When presenting a PowerPoint presentation, the presenter may choose to have the slides change at preset intervals or may decide to control the flow manually. This can be done using the mouse, keyboard, or a remote control. The flow of the presentation can be further customized by having slides load completely or one bullet at a time. For example, if the presenter has several bullet points on a page, he might have individual points appear when he clicks the mouse. This allows more interactivity with the audience and brings greater focus to each point.

PowerPoint presentations can be created and viewed using Microsoft PowerPoint. They can also be imported and exported with Apple Keynote, Apple's presentation program for the Macintosh platform. Since most people prefer not to watch presentations on a laptop, PowerPoint presentations are often displayed using a projector. Therefore, if you are preparing a PowerPoint presentation for a room full of people, just make sure you have the correct video adapter.

I want to use the power point with animation for presentations.

If you are using MS Office 2007, then I assume you are already familiar with the ribbons and tabs included. To use animations for your presentations, you can apply for one or all slides. Also you apply animation to certain objects on a specific slide.

On the top, you will find the "Animations" tab. You will find pre-set transitions for the slide.

You can apply to a particular slide, or to all slides by click on "Apply to all" button found next to the transitions on the right-side. You can also select the speed and sound of the transition. On the left-side of the pre-set transitions, you will see the "Animations" settings group.

If you click, for example a text box, The "Animate" feature will be enabled and you can select the animation you want, i.e. fade, wipe, fly in, etc.

I have added a snapshot of the drawing tool at the end of this post.

Rank, if you found this solution helpful. If you need more information.
