My laptop powers on with a blue screen and nothing else happens

When I turn on the computer, a blue screen comes on but nothing else happens.

Sounds like a GPU problem. your best solution is a BGA reball. It cost $60 to $80. With 180 warranty.

Thanks, but i don't know what a BGA reball is. I live in Florida. Should i take it to the repair shop or is this something i can handle myself?

you can search for a place in florida that does bga reball or rework. I don't kno. w that there are any. we do offer free return shipping. I believe it is only 10 dollars to get it to us. Call me for shipping and details. 972 217 6684. this does require professional repair

Hi.

Try unplugging AC power lead and then take out the laptops battery, plug the AC power lead back in and try turning it on, see what happens. If the laptop turns on then there is a problem with the battery.

Black screen

I had the same problem. Leave your laptop on the charger until the light turn blue. Then turn it on to see if it woks. Other is to switch your roms around.

Dell Precision M6300 turns on and then nothing happens.

Computer does not boot up The problem maybe the RAM, it is faulty or just needs reseating to make proper electrical contact.
Reseat the RAM and then boot up your laptop. If it still does not boot up then remove the RAM module/s and take them to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you.

Sounds like a software error. When the screen has been blaxk for a minute or two try hitting control+alt+del and use the task manager to start the process explorer.exe if so then there is a registry or windows error and needs to be repaired.

Another suggestion is to take the power out, remove cables and battery then press and hold the power button for 10 seconds. Then reinsert the cables and battery and turn on the pc. If the blue screen still appears, take note of the blue screen error and try to boot to safe mode with networking. If you have a recovery disc, boot it by pressing F12 repeatedly in startup to run the check disk. If did not work, then you have no choice but to reinstall the operating system...

Samsung V25 Laptop When it is powered up nothing is showing on the screen although the power light is on and you can hear a noise. This has happened before and it just came on.

One way to make sure the system is still working, remove the Batery, then plug the power adapter only and turn the computer back on, normally if the laptop goes into Hybernation mode and the battery is low on power this can happen. If that fixes the system then you can do a safe shutdown and re-install the battery and turn your laptop on and it should come on, the fact that you mentioned this has happened before makes me believe it is Hybernation issue.
