Question about HP OfficeJet 7410 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Have attempted to set it using the menu on the machine but suppose it has to be done with software. Will appreciate help on this... so the fax machine sends the right day and time. Thanks.
Press "Setup", "4" (B asic Fax), "1" (Date and Time).
Enter Month, Day, Year, Hour, Minutes, 1=AM, 2=PM through the keypad.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

1Press Menu/Set, 0, 2.
2 Enter the last two digits of the year. Press Menu/Set.
3 Enter two digits for the month. Press Menu/Set.
(For example, enter 09 for September, or 10 for October.)
4 Enter two digits for the day. Press Menu/Set.
(For example, enter 06 for 6th.)
5 Enter the time in 24-Hour format. Press Menu/Set.
(For example, enter 15:25 for 3:25 P.M.)
6 Press Stop/Exit.
The LCD now shows the date and time whenever the machine is idle in Fax mode.
When the machine is in Sleep mode, the LCD shows Sleep. (See Sleep Time on page 2-8.)
Hopefully that worked correctly and solved your problem!
