I think you need to update the graphics driver. It might be downloadable from the laptop or chipset manufacturer's support website. For example, if your chipset is made by intel, please go to intel.com/support/chipsets then select the chipset family. Choose the specific chipset then click on "download" under graphics. After this, please select the operating system...hope this helps.Please let me know. Thank you.
