Since this is honestly a low-end printer the mfg did not include a network interface. The best and most economical solution is to enable printer sharing on work station and attach it there. This will allow you to control access if needed and not require any additional hardware; assuming you already have an existing network.

Download fromone computor to another

It the computers are at the same location you would need to "Network" them.
Networking is done through a network adapter or hub, less than $15.

Connect the (2) computers to the adapter so you can then set up as a "Network"

Your best way to do this is use your own computer help search for networking
by typing in "Networking".

It setup correctly this will allow computer to access each other for file tranfers
or other uses as you may need.

How can i set initial set up a siemens sb5940

This is a business class router made for a T1 connection; I would highly recomend you get someone with professional networking experience, perferably networking company of sorts, to set up your network properly.
This is really the only suggestion that will completely solve your problem, with as few headaches as possible.
As an added benifit, a networking company can help you optomize your current networking infrastructure (if you have any), and plan for future networking needs.
Good Luck!

How can i stack 3com 4900sx switches? Do i need accessories to do this?

If you would like mulitple switchs its as simple as running a patch cable from you port in the switch to one port in the other switch.

Other user: There is no such thing as dhcp in a switch that is done by higher level networking leveling like routers

My network switch LEDs all blinking even without LAN connected

The LEDS blinking normally would indicate reset internally or when the unit has just been powered on. Continous LEDs lighting up or flashing with or without a connection is an indication of extensive hardware failure. This could have been brought about by a near lightning strike, a power surge or simply component failure. Unfortunately the repairs is not economically reasonable and therefore a replacement might be better off. Sorry.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards.

Thank you for using FixYa.
