I dont think its your graphics card, its possible that its your computer thats not suitable for games all together.

Please follow these steps to ensure that your computer is capable of playing games.

Direct X Diagnostic

  1. Start > Run
  2. dxdiag
  3. click Ok
  4. Check System data. Key Points: Processor and Memory (RAM)
  5. Check Display. Key Points: Memory and Graphics Card type.

If all of this looks fine, then try and update your drivers for the Graphics Card.

I recommend trying a new card to see if it is the card.

Hey, I'm trying to play World of Goo, but after

Yeah, with World of Goo especially, sometimes having previous drivers makes them playable.

Try installing these drivers and see if that helps.

Good luck!

Older games on Geoforce 6200

no there is not a way to run a game in safe mode because the drivers are minimum and dos is out of the question if you have win xp or higher, the games are problbly too old for the computer hardware. if you have an older computer to run thease games on itmight be easer to do that. my email is garrett7@mts.net

Probably more RAM, but 900MB means you must have a 1GB card - that's pretty good. 2GB total should be plenty.

Game graphical error

Wierd, I had this problem once, updating my driver simply fixed it. Do this: 1) Remove all nvidia products and drivers from your computer. 2) Reboot computer of course. 3) Go to Nvidi'as website and download the correct latest driver for your graphics card. 4) Reboot again. 5) Go test the game.

Have you installed the latest direct X9 and have you completely uninstalled the last graphics card driver ad re-started your pc, if you had one previously as this can conflict. There must be a major driver problem as video's can be played on the most basic of graphics card. The only other problem may be the NVIDIA chip is not compatible with the motherboard, as i have had this in a number of cases before and had to replace with an ATI chip based card.

GeForce 6200 shuts down and PC reboots

First check that overheating is'nt the problem, you can remove the sides of the pc and allow hot air to escape easier, if this cures it you need more fans, while your'e in the pc check for dust blocking fans and vents. Also visit the game makers web site for bug fixes if there are any and also go to graphics card web site (www.nvidia.com)for possible known game issues that you are playing.
