mouse just quit working changed battery
Problem for Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optical (bx300008) Mouse
Microsoft Optical Mouse 3000
It was working great. Now when I take the little USB thing out of the bottom, the red light goes off instead of on. When the USB thing is attached halfway, the light stays on, but when I remove it completely to plug it into my computer, the red light goes off. I have tried changing batteries, but it doesn't seem to help.

- Basically the same problem. My red light on the mouse works just fine, after I installed a new battery. My problem is the green light on the usb stick no longer lights up when I put it into the usb port. Lost manual and can't remember what I'm supposed to do with the little "connect" buttons on the usb stick and the mouse.- GuestJan 16, 2009
