I have looked all over the web to unlock my laptop dvd player. is there anyway to unlock the region on the pioneer dvd rw dvr k17rs on acer travelmate 4200. it is stuck on america region 1 and I live in south africa where most of my dvds are coded for.

you have to convert your firmware(dvd) to rpc1
