On one of your menus there should be a selection to "Format Card". Select this and it will wipe everything from the card in 5 to 10 seconds. Keep in mind it will wipe it clean.

Another option, if you do not want to delete everything is to find a computer with a multi-card reader. Insert it into the computer and use Windows Explorer to select all the pics you want to delete by holding the <Control> button down and left clicking the mouse. When you have selected all the ones you want to delete, right click and select <Delete>.

SOURCE: accidentally deleted photos

Image recovery software is quite common and works very well. Check on line or ask at a reputable photo shop. Most shops (like ours) will do the recovery process as a service, the cost depends on the shop. Don't worry yet, the recovery has been about 90% successful.

If it is an SD memory card, check for a little white tab on the left side. Chances are that somehow it got pushed down to the 'write protect' mode. Move it back up and you should be good to go! Good luck.

Deleting or formatting on the computer instead of the camera corrupts the card. The camera does not recognize the operating system used to delete. Stop using the computer to do that!

What do i do if it says memery is full

download all the photos/fiiles to your computer, then delete all the photos that are on the camera, you may also be able to pull the sd card out and put that in your computer, it will look like a storage device to your computer and will download photos much faster than from the camera, also you can then delete the photos on that SD card while its in the computer

I have deleted photos can i get them back

Definitely YES, you can get the deleted photos back from your digital camera.

First things first: DO NOT take any more pictures or videos to the camera that you want to recover files from in case you may quite possibly ruin your chances of photo recovery.

Then connect the device to your computer and have a try of Photo Recovery, a program which can recover pictures, videos can music files deleted or lost easily. If you are running a machine with Mac OS X, go to Photo Recovery for Mac .

You should remember - the more you use your the device, the less likely you may be able to recover the images back! So STOP using it as soon as possible.

You'll need to use a card reader with this software. If you don't have one, get one, they're very inexpensive these days:
