Hi,
This is because of occuring collision in the signal.. Please try changing the handset. If same problem occurs then contact your service provider.. If not then we can conclude that there is a probelm in your handset. And try receiving phone calls in different locations.. You told that this problem occurs only when you receive the call right... ! What happens when you dail a call to somebody ? same problem or not ? Please let me know...
Thank you.......

Remove the batteries from the hand sets count to 10, replace the batteries then set each hand set on the main base one at a time, this should reset the hand sets and reassign them to the base unit.
see if this helps.

Hi,

Depending on the actual model and frequency/channel used, it may be that the unit is operating with another device on or near the same frequency:

  • another phone system (even neighbors);
  • wireless networking;
  • security/alarm/perimeter systems;
  • high end remote controls;
  • satellite phones/internet to name a few.
Pls try checking if there is an option to change frequency/channel.

Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.

Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

Sounds like the line is being "cut" when you pick-up the phone. Try another handset.

Move the handset closer to the base. The operating range may vary with environmental conditions and time of use. There may be places within your environment that a cordless phone will not work well. If the problem only occurs in certain areas of your environment, you can conclude that there is nothing wrong with the phone.

Unable to transfer calls from extensions off Hymax 32i PABX system

Not sure about the Hymax, but most all PBX call transfer switching works via a switchook flash and then when you get ther second dial tone you dial the extension. When the transfer party answers you either hang up or flash the switchook and have a three way conversation.

How to do conference call

Depends on the phone system or service you are using. On a regular land-line you can do a 3-way call (if you have this option available to you through your service provider). To do this:
1. Call the first party.
2. Once the caller is on the line ask them to hold while to connect with the 2nd party.
3. Flash to dial tone. There may be a flash button on your phone or you may just press talk. In any case you should hear a quick "beep..beep..beep" then dial tone.
4. Now you can dial the 2nd party and click the flash (or talk) again to return to the 1st party and you both should hear the phone ringing for the 2nd party.

There's hundreds, if not thousands, of different phones, phone systems, and provider combinations that have different procedures for making conference calls. This is probably the most basic way. Hope this helps

Who do you make a conference call

While you are speaking to a party, all you have to do to add people is

1) Press the Conf button.

2) Dial the number for the new party.

3) Talk to the new party.

4) Press the Conf button again. You will hear a tone and then all parties will be able to hear all other parties.

To leave a conference call you just press the Conf button, listen for the tone, and hang up.

Activating Call Forwarding

You can activate Call Forwarding whenever you want your calls to be sent to another phone, including a mobile phone. Once activated, all your calls will be sent to the forwarding number you request. Each time a call is forwarded, you will hear one short reminder tone on your home phone, but you will not be able to answer the call from your home number.

1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

2. Press *7 2.
In some areas you must use 72#
Dial 1172 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

3. At the tone, dial the telephone number where you want your calls transferred.
You will hear the number you entered ring. When the number is answered, Call Forwarding is activated.

4. If the call is not answered or the line is busy, hang up and call the number again within two minutes.
You will hear two short tones telling you that Call Forwarding is activated.

5. Hang up the receiver.

Deactivating Call Forwarding

Turn Call Forwarding off when you want to receive calls on your home phone.

1. Lift your telephone's receiver and listen for a dial tone.

2. Press * 73.
In some areas you must use 73#
Dial 1173 on rotary or pulse-dialing phones.

3. Listen for two short tones.
Call Forwarding is now off and you will receive your calls at your home number.
