Question about Epson Stylus Pro 9800 InkJet Printer
We have an Epson 9800 that we use with Artanium inks. We have had it for just over a year and I am about to replace the head for the second time. Back in June, we had continuous drop out on the Cyan nozzles during a huge job. Our ink supplier checked the ink for us and determined that it was the head. We were buying the inks in bulk liters and using the same inks in our Roland, so we agreed . The Epson tech replaced it while I was on vacation. Now, only 3 months later, I have continuous drop out on the Magenta nozzles. I am having to do a cleaning before every print job, which is quite annoyingand wasteful. I am currently on printing with the right side of the head, because I have been unable to get anyone to write me a ICC profile to support both heads. Is this why the head is failing so soon? Can I expect to replace the head about 4 times a year? Any help is appreciated.
