Question about ASUS Computers & Internet
Try to find the part in an auction using the exact model number of your laptop. Laptop screens start at $100. To make it worth it though you may need to self-install. There are repair guides online, it's not that hard on Dell at HP laptops. Just remove the front bezel, release LCD plug and backlight plug, remove the defective screen and replace it with the new one. I work for a laptop repair company (Laptop Repair NYC) and we do this replacement frequently in an hour or so.

Laptop screens are usually very pricey to fix. Chances ar eyou will need a new one , and the price of a new one + labor for someone to install it usually isn't worth it. For the same price you can purchase a brand new one!
