There is a small duct from the condensation chamber to the pump housing and this is blocked.

WERE IS THE RESET BUTTON ON HOTPOINT DRYER CDT 80

Not sure if all dryers have a thermostat reset. You can check your model (which might be CTD80 and not CDT80). Usually it can be reset if there is a small hole in the middle of the device where you can insert a tooth pick and press it.

Location of thermostats is at the back. Make sure the power chord is unplugged from the wall.

Pressed reset button on left hand therm0stat dryer runs but still error code f10 elements not getting warm

I found this, an answer already posted on Fixya.....

If you remove the back cover of the drier with the appliance un pluged, you will see the heater bracket.

un screw this from the back panel, and at the top you will see three thermostats. There is a brown one with a small hole in the middle, if you use a pin and press in, you should hear a click. This resets the thermostat and you should be able to use the drier again.

Hotpoint ctd80 power gone, not fuse problem, is it thermostat?

Open up panel where the power cord goes into the machine, plug it in and do a voltage check. Also look for possible burned wire at contact connection or wire came off.

I have a hotpoint ctd80 showing error f13, have cleaned all the filters, and cleared the water and still it doesnt clear error on the low heat setting

F13 indicates the rear thermistor is open/short circuit, this is part of the heater circuit. it is akin to a thermostat, but there is more than one!!
Hotoint recommend you call an engineer..
I am assuming that this is a lcd tumble dryer.
Plz leave feedback.

Dont know what the fault codes are for my Hptpoint Dryer CTD80

Hi.
F10 indicates that the heater is open circuit, or the thermostat is faulty, more likely to be open circuit thermostat, you should replace both thermostats.
Also make sure that you clean the filters regularly

This should solve your problem.

Apparently a common fault on these indicit based driers.
