Question about Canon MP520 All-In-One InkJet Photo Printer
I keep getting a message saying that one of the ink tanks (the yellow one) can't be recognised. The tank is the original Canon tank that came with the device and is about 3/4 full. When I remove the offending tank and replace it, the red light comes back on, but as soon as I close the cover and the carriage moves position that tank's red light goes off and the error message comes onto the screen. It's not letting me do anything at all. I can't even scan anything.
This is down to a hardware error in the tank itself. Only remedy is to replace the ink tank and not use refilled or copy tanks.
