talked to Bosch and they said Power Tool Service Co. in Houston Texas now has the high frequency Bosch tools. There phone number is 1-800-327-2156 and maybe they can provide the information you need. Dave

Laura, I am trying to contact Bosch for information. I can't find this number listed in their database, they indicate it might take a couple days but I will post again with what I hear.

Does the plug, on the end of your power cable, have 2 prongs and a ground or 3 plugs and a ground? Two would indicate single phase, three prongs, plus a ground, is three phase. Unless I misunderstood your question, that is your answer.

How to replace knob assembly on bosh 1 1/8 rotary hammer drill 11222 evs

Push the red button all the way in as far as it goes and turn the knob to the left (counter clockwise) past it's normal position. Then you can pull the knob out. When you replace it make sure that the pin part fits inside the slot of the shifting arm inside the tool.

How to replace knob assembly on bosh 1 1/8 rotary hammer drill 11222evs

Here is a link to the parts diagram. It shows what position the knob needs to be in the remove it. You also have to push the button in further then normal. I just use a small screwdriver. Once you rotate it further past the last position you will be able to lightly pull up on it while slowly rotating and it will release. It has tabs molded into the plastic knob so it can only come out when they align with the housing it fits into.

I have a Bosh, model no. 11232 EVS Hammer Drill, but do not have the service manuel, and would like to know how to service it, how and when.

Many people service their hammer drill when it begins leaking, stops hammering, or just quits running. Bosch makes a service kit that comes with brushes, grease, and all the o-rings and seals their own technicians at the Factory Service Center use to rebuild the tool. 1617000263 is the part number for the service kit, and costs under 50.00 . The unit will have to be torn down and cleaned(everything forward of the armature). If you dont do it for a living, it can become quite a project. Try to avoid bringing into a service center disassembled, because they will charge you more than if you just dropped it off for a rebuild.

How do i remove the chuck on a hilti dd100 core drill i was told you just knock out the pin but it dosnt seem to budge and its starting to get butchered

go to Hilti.com and type in your model number for an owners manual on this tool. It looks like it has a locking mechanism that you just need to pull back. Let me know if you can't find it and I will get more specific info, or you can call them at 1-800-879-8000 and speak with tech services for this

Bosch Jack Hammer

I worked at a tool rental center while I was going to college and learned a great deal about equipment and power requirements for tools. Large electric hammers draw a great deal of amps thus created a problem on construction sites. Bosch and other brands made hammers such as yours that would would work on long extension cords that worked off of special generators such as this one: http://www.southern-tool.com/store/multiquip_gdp-5000h_generator.html . This miltiquip generator has a special outlet for three phase at 230v. Your hammer was probably designed to work on a generator such as this. Hope this helps, enjoy.
