Question about Canon PowerShot S3 IS Digital Camera
Hi. I am an idiot, and I don't know about cameras. Mine was dropped and now it doesn't focus when I look into the viewfinder BUT when I take what I think is an out-of-focus photo it is in focus. So, methinks it's only the viewfinder that is blurry. I want to get it fixed but don't want to get robbed blind by some repair place that says "Oh, you need a new carburetor" because they can tell I am ignorant. Please, what part would I say to the repairman is damaged? And, since I'm in Guatemala and might not be able to get a specifically Canon PS S3IS carburetor/distributor cap/flux capacitor/whatever can another one work instead? Much as I'd hate to buy another brand's parts. I appreciate your time. Thanks!
On Nov 5 2008 someone posted to look for a scroll whell to the left of the view finder when you have a blurry view....in 2010, this answer prevented my husband from sending back his SECOND new camera!!! yipppeee

You have a small scroll wheel to the left of the viewhole. This changes the focus of what your eyes see.
