Question about HP LaserJet P2015n Printer

1 Answer

Ink blots deposit onto feed rollers which in turn transfers to all new prints

I have cleaned ink blot deposits on the visible internal rollers that feed the paper through the machine. However, the ink blots just reappear onto the roller and I get a series of blots on all printed pages as the pages feed through the roller mechanism.

Can anybody advise how I can stop this probelm at source? I s it a fault with the catridge that is causing the deposit onto the rollers. Could it be a deposit on an internal roller that I cannot see and therefore cannot clean easily?

Many thanks.

Most likely you have a leaking print cartridge (toner cartridge). Does it have the same problem if you use the Manual Bypass tray?

It could also be a worn fuser sleeve that is causing the print defect...the fuser would need replaced in that case.

Just bought new ink for my printer epson cx4200...it does not print anything ,,i thing the old ink dry out ..how i clean that thank you

Ink may be new, but their nozzles may be blocked; depending on manner of storage. To be sure apply a folded tissue paper to the ink nuzzle and press firmly. If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it and the nozzle is not blocked. If not blotted or scantily blotted, it means ink is really low or nozzle is blocked. To be very sure of this, place nuzzle in a plate/saucer with a bit water so that the nozzle is soaked. Leave for about 10 minutes. Then apply the tissue again. If still not well blotted it means ink is really low or empty. If new you should return it for a replacement. In the case of blocked nozzles, the procedure may be repeated over to get results.

My Dell cn3110 color laser printer is making faint gray bands down the left and right margins of each page. They are wider on the left side, and irregular, but mostly in the form of diagonal streaks. ...

This is caused by partially blocked ink nozzle. So Apply a folded tissue paper to the ink nuzzle and press firmly. If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it and the nozzle is not blocked; ink is flowing well. If not blotted or scantily blotted, it means ink is really low or nozzle is blocked or partially blocked.

Epson cx8400. I've put in new black ink cartridge, but when I conduct a nozzle pattern check, the black will not print. I've run head cleaning 4 times & it still won't print black.

For some cases the automatic head cleaning dosen't resolve blocked nozzle issues. For such you simply need to go manual; so please try the procedure below. If you are not at all a technical person get a brother, sister, husband, wife etc who is to help.

A lot times running clean print heads is not enough to resolve this issue. You need to do a little bit more.

Pleae give this procedure a try.

If the tissue comes off well blotted with ink it means you still have a good amount of ink in it and the nuzzle is not blocked. In the case of blocked nuzzles, the procedure may be repeated over to get results.

Run a cleaning sheet through the printer- absorbant papaer- blotting paper. If this machine has had a lot of service it may be your waste tank is filling up and leaking out - have you had a service warning yet?
