5600-6600 3 in one won't print claiming cartridges 36XL and 37 XL have no support. I am instructed to take them out and return them and it does not solve the problem
Just make sure you are using a genuine Lexmark cartridge and not some remanufactured, refilled or clone cartridges. Please follow the steps below to identify and fix cartridge
issues:
For the most optimal output experience with your model, I recommends that you update your printer firmware. The firmware helps ensure that you receive the highest yields of ink available from the cartridges, which offers the greatest value and means fewer necessary cartridge replacements. Please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark S300 Series Firmware Update. If more than one download is listed for your model, choose the first download in the list. If it is the wrong firmware level, an error message will tell you which firmware level is correct.
Leading
cause of paper jams is debris/foreign objects that accidentally fell into the
paper feed area. Please follow steps below to fix the problem:
1. Remove
the sheets of paper from the feeder.
2. Grab a
flashlight and look inside the feeder for any debris or foreign objects.
3. If
you're willing and physically able, you may also turn the printer over. Any
debris should just freely roll out from the feeder.
4. If
feeder is clear, place the printer back on the table, open the printer cover
and remove the cartridges.
5. Check
the cartridge area for any obstructions/debris in the cartridge carrier's path
or the paper path.
6. If
cartridge area is clear, close the cover.
7. Re-brick
your printer. Pull out the power supply, black box where the power cord is
plugged in at the back of the printer, and put it back after 30 seconds.
8. When
the printer turns on, reinsert the cartridges and load some paper. Try to print
a document again to verify that the problem is fixed.
If problem continues, please contact Lexmark Technical Support Center for additional assistance.
Sometimes the ink cartridge carrier
won't automatically move to its loading position even when the printer is on and
the cover is open. Follow the steps below:
1. Unplug the printer from the power
source. 2. With the cover open, hold the
solid white strip that connects from the carrier assembly to the ink cartridge
carrier and gently slide the cartridge carrier to the center of the printer. 3. Remove the used cartridges. 4. Load the new cartridges. Close
the cover. 5. Plug the printer back to the
power source. You may also refer to this link: How to
