How can i attach more usb hubs inmy mother board?

Hi,

You can install an internal USB hub like in this picture >>>>>leecom72_8.jpg

They go in one of the expansion slot on the front of the computer and usually are powered by one of the white molex plugs that connect to the hard drives and optical drives.

Alternatively, you can get a wired USBhub like in this picture >>>>

I don't know what motherboard it is that i have to download the users manual can you please.....please help me

Turn off the PC. Remove the side panel from the case. Get a flashlight and inspect the mother board. You're looking for a number to identify the type of mother board. ASUS mother boards usually place this number just to the left of the memory slots. It's usually 5 or 6 digit long and made up of both letters and numbers. One of my computers with a ASUS mother board is a P5LD2. Once you know this number you can go to http://support.asus.com/ and download updated drivers for *********** board. You may need to identify what type of socket *********** has. If you have a fairly recent Intel microprocessor you probably have a socket 775 mother board. If it's an AMD microprocessor it's probably a SocketAM2 or AM3. You might have to do some searching if these choices don't work. I hope this advice helps you out.

Expansion slota

eMachines Support > ET1331 desktop computer > Product Views > Rear View,

http://support.gateway.com/emachines/desktop/2009/emachines/et/ET1831/ET1831rv.shtml

The metal covers that have the Plus sign ( + ) holes, are Expansion Slot Covers.

Insert a flat tipped screwdriver blade in the + sign hole.
Insert the screwdriver blade horizontally, in the + sign hole, on the right side. ( ---- , not vertical I )

Gently bring the back of the screwdriver down.
This will make the metal slot cover, bend the small metal tab that is holding it.

Go to the + sign hole on the Left side. Do the same on the Left side as the above.

Bring the back of the screwdriver up.

Keep working the metal expansion slot cover back, and forth, until the two small metal tabs that are holding it in, break.

Remove the metal expansion slot cover.

Before you begin, ensure that the expansion slot cover you wish to remove, lines up with the wireless adapter card.

Have any questions concerning this, post in a Comment.

Are you trying to install the Dell Media Card Reader? If so then the other end of the ?FlexBay USB cable that plugs into the card reader goes into a small rectangular connector towards the back of the motherboard. Specifically orient as follows; place the computer on its side, the power supply to your left and the front of the computer facing towards you. Starting at the back of the motherboard next to the power supply follow the back edge of the motherboard till you come to the approximate center of the board. About an inch towards you there will be a rectangular connector the FlexBay USB cable end should fit into. If this isn?t the cable from the Dell Media Card Reader let us know and we?ll try to help, otherwise please don?t forget to rate this posting.
