ANY CHANCE TO REMOVE PASSWORD FROM THE BIOS ON TOSHIBA PORTEGE S100
Also from what ive expereinced if you just pull out the battery like the first post say for like 10 minutes or more you should be fine and it will clear the bios giving you a fresh start at booting up the computer w/o any problems
Actually pulling the battery may not work on certain Toshiba notebook computers.
Some Toshiba notbook computers require a special CD to unlock the password. This CD is available from any qualified Toshiba service technician.
The reason why this was done was to prevent theft from happening. If someone were to steal one of these computers, without the disk, the computer is useless.
Check the Toshiba support center website for details.

you may open up the unit to expose the motherboard, then look for the BIOS battery (round and flat like the one in the picture below). remove it for at least an hour or two then put everything back in. you should have no BIOS password at this point.
