Call the manufacturer of the car or check your manual for the car....usually there is a separate book for the anti theft radio.

REMOVAL

  1. Disconnect and isolate the battery negative cable.
  2. Remove cup holder.
  3. Remove trim panel above cupholder by pulling straight out.
  4. Remove center instrument panel trim panel.
  5. Remove screws holding radio to instrument panel.
  6. Pull radio rearward to gain access to the back of radio (RADIO). CAUTION: Pulling the antenna cable straight out of the radio without pulling on the locking antenna connector could damage the cable or radio.
  7. Disconnect the antenna cable by pulling the locking antenna connector away from the radio (ANTENNA TO RADIO).
  8. Disconnect bolt holding ground strap to the radio (if equipped).
  9. Disconnect the wire connectors from the back of the radio.

Midland walkietalkies -how do you put in new

You have to remove the belt clip, then the battery cover. There is a locking tab at the top of the belt clip.

To remove the belt clip, press the LOCK TAB down , then gently pull the belt clip up toward the top of the radio.

Then remove the battery cover, press near the seam and slide the cover down:

Replace the batteries, observing polarity.
Slide the cover back on until it locks in place.
To install the belt clip, slide the clip down into the slot on the back
of the radio until the belt clip lock clicks.

Hope this helps! If you need more help, please ask!

Is there anything i should be wary of when removing my battery, will it mess any of the electrical settings up?bmw z4 3ltre thanks

Just make sure your radio is turned off before removing the battery. If the radio is on and the battery is removed and replaced, the radio may get locked out. This will prompt you to enter and reset code to your radio to have it work again. Good luck and after you battery has been replaced, just reset the radio stations setting and time.

Car will not started radio and door locks dosent work

If the battery is good dissconect the ground and clean it until its silver in color on the battery and copper color on the terminal connector. If that doesn't do any good remover that ground wire again then check the battery positive cable running to the starter. It may be loose. If so remove it and clean it very good. Re-enstall with a star washer to lock in place for keeps & check

Car radio lock

There is a reset button on the radio, you will have to remove the radio to get to it, or you can just remove the positive cable on your battery, wait a minute and then attach it again.
