If the red

I have lost the signal from my set top box to my TV

There are three Led on the front of the box. One is named "Sandby" and the other "Function"

The red "Function" LEd has come on and the signal between box and TV is lost.

I can still watch terrestrial TV.

There is no mention of the "Function" Led or its purpose in the users manual although it is shown in the picture of the box.

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit section inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power LED, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. Count it carefully. If you wish to get some details, check the site linked here. It has details about blinking codes, and fault locating procedure, to many popular brand TVs and other devices.

My Sony KDS-60A3000 randomly turns off, then the red "Power LED" blinks three times repeatedly (not "Lamp LED"). We turn it back on, the process repeats again between 20-60 minutes.

Bought Walker tv and remote stopped working even though the red light comes on once i press any button... please help

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. The red light on the remote you see is not the infrared light, but an indication only, that there power comes to its circuit, as you press a button. The infrared LED is placed at the front end of the remote control. If you wish to get more details about how to check a remote control, try this link. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/ Pull up previous posts, either by type in the Brand name to your set in its search box, or view it in Mosaic / Timeslide / Flipcard option. Select view option by the drop-down view box, at the top left or the display window.

Please provide a model number for this TV, I would have thought being an LED tv that you wouldn't be needing a set-top box as it would be digital already.

Im trying to connect my sega dreamcast which has red white an yellow av cable only, however my insignia NS-32E570A11 led tv only has for component connection with the blue green n red, when i hooked it up,...

Sorry, this will not be easy....

You need to locate a composite to RGB converter box.

Your Sega outputs a composite signal - Video (yellow) and audio left/right (white/red).

The TV needs RGB (red/green/blue) inputs on the component connection...your composite signal divided by three. There are converter boxes out there for around 70 bucks or so.

Are you certain you do not have a yellow VIDEO IN jack on your set? Every LCD and LED TV I have experience with has at least one.

I have a samsung dvd recorder, whats the proper way to connect for it to work, do i connect to cable box, tv

How you connect it depends on your system. You need to connect the video out of the recorder to the TV. If you want to record programs, you need to connect the cable box to the recorder's video in. (The unit doesn't have a tuner if you have the unit listed above.)

Place the IR Blaster near the set-top box IR receiver. Connect the RF cable from the wall to your set-top box and then another RF cable from the set-top box to the TV (not to the DVD recorder). Connect a composite A/V cable from the set-top box A/V (composite) out to the DVD recorder's A/V in (AV1) port. (Composite video is a three wire cable - the plugs are yellow (video) and red/white (R/L audio).)

Next you need to connect the unit to the TV. Depending on the TV, you can use an HDMI cable (best results), component video or another composite video cable (labeled AV2 AV out). If you use component video, you'll need a separate cable to carry the audio. (Component video cables have 3 RCA jacks on each end (red, blue and green). The audio cable has the red and white plugs.

You will only get a 480 (SD) signal output if you use anything other than the HDMI cable. (The progressive scan feature is not compatible with all TVs; see the manual for details.)

You can obtain the manual from http://www.samsung.com/us/support/detail/supportPrdDetail.do?menu=SP01&prd_mdl_name=DVD-VR375 .

I hope this helps.

Cindy Wells
(you have an additional A/V IN connection as well as a DV In port on the front of the unit)

Element hdtv flx3210 shuts video off after a few seconds.

Send the set back for service.

The power supply most likely failed, or another circuit board has failed and the set is in the protect mode.

I would consider to see if the dealer would exchange the set for a well known quality brand name set and pay the difference.

No picture, however there is sound

Is this set hooked to cable? Is there a cable or satellite box? When you press the menu button, do you see the menu on screen? Do you see anything on the screen, such as snow, or is it completely black? If the signal is OK and the TV has no picture at all, the red LED on the front of the set should be flashing a certain number of times. If the LED is flashing, the computer has detected a problem in the set and shut the picture off. If this is the case, there is no way for you to bring the picture back by pressing buttons. The number of times the LED flashes is the computer's way of displaying exactly why there is no picture. The set should then be serviced by a qualified tech familiar with Sony TV's. If the LED is not flashing and the menu comes up on screen, check your signal source. If you are using a cable or satellite box, that box could be bad, and if you are using RCA jacks, the yellow (video) wire could be bad or pulled out.
