These are the solutions that I found for you. Personally, I think that you need to update your drivers, but wanted to offer you more than one solution.
Adjust printer settings
Click Start , click Settings, and then click Printers.
Right-click the icon (picture) of the printer.
Click Properties .
In the Properties dialog box, click the Details tab.
Look for the text Print using the following driver .
Under Print using the following driver , verify that the name of the printer is listed.
Click the Color or Color Management tab.
Click Automatic .
Click the Setup tab. If you do not see a Setup tab, click the Device Options tab. If you do not see a Device Options tab, click the Details tab, and then click the Setup button.
Locate the text Print Quality .
For Print Quality, choose Best or Presentation .
Look for the text Paper Type , Media , or Media Choice . If you do not see any of these options, click the Paper tab.
Click in the box under Paper Type , Media , or Media Choice .
In the list that pops up, choose the type of paper or film you are using.
Under Photo Paper printing , choose PhotoREt .
PhotoREt is available only if you have chosen HP brand paper under Paper Type. If you don't have a PhotoREt option, look for the text ICM . If you see ICM , click in its checkbox to add a checkmark, and click OK .
If you see a tab called Advanced , look for text Saturation , Brightness , and Color Tone .
Move the sliders next to Saturation , Brightness , and Color Tone to adjust these settings. If you cannot find these settings, click the Graphics tab and then click the Color button. Choose the options that match the type of document you are printing.
Click OK .
Close the Printers window.
Open the software application that you were using to print.
If this does not work, try updating your drivers or uninstalling and reinstalling your printer software.
