I have a lexmark x5250, I have bought new computer have installed the disk for printer it tells me everthing is working but I cannot print tells me there is an error

I suggest not to plug the printer to your computer yet. Download and install the driver first. Here's the link to the Lexmark website for the available Lexmark X5250 drivers. http://bit.ly/al9bqi . Choose the right driver compatible with your computer's operating system. Download and install the software. Follow the instructions on the software. Hope this helps.
chech to see if the cartridge slot locks down the tab that locks the cartridge have been known to break. or run a maintenance check and clean the printer heads.
