Question about Sling Media The Slingbox Pro
I have the Slingbox Pro connected to my television in the United States.
With regularity, when I try to access the slingbox remotely (I and my computer are in the Philippines), I get a message that the connection cannot be made.
I then have a friend go by my house and reboot the Slingbox. Within a few weeks, the same thing happens.
Is this really the best way to solve the problem? Or does the Slingbox just not work very well?
I had a similar problem with my Slingbox Pro. After some time I realized that the problem was with my router, not my Slingbox. I tried a new router, but that router didn't work well with my Slingbox and Tivo. So I put the original router back, and I plugged it into a timer that automatically turns the power off and on once a day.
