Hi,

Try a new set of batteries for your camera and try to switch it on.
If that doesn't help then try these,

A stuck automatic lens cover may be your problem, but it is normally easy to fix.
Try these:

1) Try blowing lots of compressed air around the lens cover to clean the mechanism. Or use a hair dryer for a few seconds (don't want to heat up the camera). Use no heat mode if possible.

2) Slide a thin strip of paper between the lens cover shutters and the outer support ring. Work it around 360 degres to clear out any debris that may be in there.

3) With the lens barrel extended and pointed downward, tap the lens barrel with a pencil while you extend and retract the lens by powering the camera on and off.But this step may not be a option since your camera is in a dead state.

Repeat the above steps several times. If repeated tries don't work (keeping in mind that it usually does),
it then may be necessary to open the lens barrel to access the lens cover mechanism.

But if you still got the warranty , you better leave this repair work to the panasonic service center.

I have a Panasonic Lumix DMC -TZ15 and it wouldnt connect to my PC and then the USB connection started overhearting

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo management program such as Picasa ( http://picasa.google.com ).

My Lumix TZ15 has lines on the display in both camera and replay modes. The photos are ok. Maybe a screen problem?

That sounds like the connection to the display or the display itself is damaged. Check if you have warranty or extended warranty because it would be best to send it back. However if the pictures are fine you should perhaps just live with it.

Hi, I am using Panasonic DMC TZ15. My LCD screen is not working. I can still take photos. What's wrong? Is it a loose connection in the camera?

Could be. Have you dropped it? The ribbon cable for the LCD display could of come loose, you can use a screwdiver and open it up for a look yourself, or you can send it away for it to be done for you. It just depends how confident you are

I lost Panasonic LUmix DMC-TZ15 driver

Do you have a USB card reader? Just take the card from the camera, pop into the reader, and you can transfer your photos.
No drivers required unless using Windows 98 or earlier.

Also, the model is wrong, do you mean TZ5? You should be able download software for the camera from www.panasonic.com
