Trying to unlock my acer a500, but cant...how do i set it back to factory settings

When Hard Reset (with phone Off) Or

1. On your phone, On the ENTER Account SignIN Page. There is an option to CHANGE PASSWORD.
2. IF You Have Already Tryed This, GOOD.
3. YOU ARE One step ahead.

5. CAN YOU REmember recovery Email or Number?
6. You will Be sent "VERIFY CHANGE PASSWORD" email or text.
7. Were You Able To Change Password?
8. IF YES, Awsome. DO NOT FORGET NEW PASSWORD skip to step # 18.
9. IF NO, YOU were Not able to change password.
10. IF NO YOU were Not able to access Verification email
11. There is Three Options you have to Unlock Your Phone.

13. TWO.......You can do the same thing the Phone Repair Shop Does at Home, There are a Few Things You Will Need.
14. ACCESS TO A Personal Computer (Laptop, Friends Computer, Moms Computer will work Too. *(*NO PUBLIC COMPUTER, LIBRARY COMPUTER CAFE*)*
15. MICRO USB FLASH DRIVE. Is a regular flash drive, 1GB is More than enough empty space. ?MICRO? is two way Cord that allows USB Flash Drive To Also Connect To Smart Phone, Using Charge Input Jack.
16. Download ZTE LTE Software, directly to Flash Drive.
17. On ENTER account info page, Connect Flash Drive to Cell Phone. At top of screen, Notification promped askes "Open USB", Open USB>file folder>downloads> zip file>install>download>programs>unlocks phone.

19. You were able to Access Verification email. And you still remember password. AWSOME....GOOD JOB.....
20. This is the simplist way to bypass Google Account VERIFICATION.
21. So now you are wondering why then new password is not working?
22. Google also has a 72 HOUR LOCKOUT SECURITY. On the verification Email there is a Time Stamped. The time is your email recieved time.
23. This time Started Googles' 72 Hour CountDown.
24. Do not attempt to reset Password, or login again untill countdown has expired. You dont want to chance time Restarting.
25. If time stamped was 8AM 26th, 72 Hrs is up 8AM 29th. I would wait just a half hour more.
26. Best thing to do now is Kickback 3 days.
27. When Countdown has expired, New password will work to log in.

TRY THESE SIMPLE STEPS.

After the phone has finished its factory reset it will reboot and you will be prompted to choose the desired display language.
After choosing the correct language please follow the next steps:

1. Connect the phone to a Wifi Network (preferably your Home network)
2. The next screen will ask you for the Google Account
3. Tap the text field in which the account should be inserted until the Keyboard comes up
4. Tap and hold the "@" character until a Settings menu pops up
5. Select Google Keyboard Settings
6. Tap on the 3 dots in the top part of the screen (or More depending on what Android OS you are running)
7. Select the Help & Feedback item and select any item in the list that will follow
8. Long press to select anytext on this page and click on Websearch in the upper right corner
9. A search field will be shown (delete the text inside the search field)
10. Type Settings in the search field
11. Tap "About Phone" and tap 7 times on the Build Number to enable Developer Options
12. Return to the previous menu and open the Developer Option that just appeared
13. Allow OEM Unlocking and tap Back two times
14. Restart the device
15. Connect it to Wifi again
16. Notice how you won't be prompted to log in the previous Google Account and instead the phone will ask you to ADD a new Google Account.

if its legitimate and not stolen just ask the person you bought it from for password or reset to factory settings and put your own pattern lock and email on it

so why dont you go to the store where got the phone and ask them to reset you phone and remember set it to a password that you and only you can remember. And it wont be a problem if you just write your google down and the password and have it with you in a safe spot.

If your computer is an Acer Iconia a500 Tablet PC, then it should have a recessed reset button on the side which you can press and hold with a stylus or a pen tip in order to restore the computer to factory settings (see below).

You can unlock LG p500 screen pattern using your google acount, but if you already set it in your phone. To unlock lg phone with google account you just need to type any wrong pattern 5 times then your phone will be asking your google account and after you insert that google account you can setup new screen patern for your phone. Unfortunately if you don't ever setup google account in your phone, you only can unlock it with factory reset methods. For the details about this process you can see at here at page 21 and soon. If you have a google account attached to the phone you will be able to reset the password by clicking the I dont know my password button after several incorrect attempts. If not you are going to have to reset it to factory settings.
