Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

If it is a camcorder that requires a disc to record then you must install the software the camcorder came with.If you bought it without the software disc,I recommend looking it up. Or you can try putting the recordabble disc in your laptops DVD player.

ISO settings are basically the way the camera responds to light. The higher the ISO, the more the camera will take low light images. The trade off though in higher ISO is that you get grain.

You can use any infra red or Bluetooth flash unit, but make sire you get on that lists your particular model. That way they actually work from the amount of light that hits the CMOS sensor inside the camera itself.

Canon 400d

Such symptom indicate a malfunction on the DC/DC voltage converter circuitry, and the camera has two of them located in different boards.

In order to perform a correct diagnostics and repair of it, it is necessary to open such camera and perform it by a qualified camera repair technician.

If it's under warranty, I do recommend you to send it back to make valid the warranty.

If not, then you hav the options of pay for its repair, or do it yourself if you are willing tgo open it and perform some basic diagnostics of the failure. You will needtools to do it, which includes the usage of a soldering iron.

Canon 300d will not power up

No single fix im afraid, there are several fuses on the dc/dc converter that are worth checking, moisture on the flash board can fry them badly resulting in a dead camera.
basicly a dead eos is an eos with problems that wont allow the cpu to start, be it too much current being drawn somewhere, software issues or damaged ribbon cables.. risky business.

Best of luck
