Reinstall the chipset drivers.

Look in Device Manager (To open Device manager: Click Start >> Run >> Type devmgmt.msc and click OK).
Any yellow or red marks there?
if so
You have to reinstall the drivers for those devices + chipset.
They should be on a CD you got with the computer.

even if this does nt fix the problem then
Definitely a problem with yor usb controllers or with the actual hardware itself.

good luck:-)

I want to install webcam

If they do not, once you plug it in, your computer will recognize the new hardware and provide suggestions for you.

Piece of cake.

Custom Made xbox USB port, wont recognize anything

I don't think your xbox has drivers for those things installed and your unlikely to find them. Sorry to be a buzz kill but Microsoft built them to run only the stuff they make for it.

Logitech camera plugged in but still can't recognise device. It always says device not pluged in.

please, note if the USB drivers for logitech were installed when the rest of software was. only as that the motherboard will recognize the webcam.

in the logitech's webcam cd, you'll see a chapter with only USB DRIVERS. if not, you can find them in
it's free registration and easy to use site.
