Hi June,
I'm sorry to hear you're having difficulties with your DC25. If the wand is difficult to remove from the cleaner, it may be due to the hose being twisted when you replaced the wand on the machine after the last time you used it.
This is easy to correct - please follow the steps shown in the video below.
If you have any further questions about using or maintaining your machine, please give us a call free on 0800 298 0298 (UK), or 1866MYDYSON (US) so we can help.
Kind regards,
Jack

Hi June,
Thank you for the clarification. Due to the DC28's very powerful suction, it's normal to experience some resistance from the hose during use. You should find the hose will loosen up after a period of use, but you can expedite this by stretching the hose out to it's fullest extent a few times, while someone else holds the cleaner in place.
Hopefully this information will be useful to you - if you need any further assistance, please give us a call free on 1866MYDYSON, or email us at [email protected]
Kind regards,
Jack

Thanks Jack - My machine is actually a DC28. It's not that the wand is difficult to remove. The wand comes out no problem, but extending the hose across a distance is difficult. It's very tight and keeps drawing back up. Does this help?
