Can't find the serial number on my Canon iP1800 printer

Hi, my boyfriend bought this printer about a year ago and didn't keep the receipt. I now have to find the serial number, but I don't have any papers or guaranty that has the number on it. Now I guess it should be on the printer, but there are sooo many numbers on it. Can anyone tell me how it should begin? QC or QK? Or maybe how many numbers it should contains?

    Thank you Joed911,

Unfortunately I cannot download the picture with this laptop, but I found under the printer 2 numbers as I don't find anything under the cover even if I put it ON:

Can you please tell me which one looks more like a Canon serial number to you?

Thank you so much for your help

Locate the Serial Number When confirming the serial number, ensure that the printer is POWERED ON before opening the top cover. The serial number of the printer is visible when the top cover is opened, as shown below.

I had not used my printer for about 5-6 months. A few days ago I bought new cartridges, but the result is unacceptable. Print jobs are pale and as if the mat, the color looks very pale - about 30 - 50%...

Check your settings on the printer. Is it in "Draft Mode"? If that's not the solution check through the settings of the printer, look for a "Printer head clean" Or "Clean printer head" Something along those lines.

I have a Canon ip1800, which keeps coming up with the message," ink absorber is full" Please advice how to sort this problem. Thank you

The printer counts the number of prints and cleaning cycles and when you get that error you need a shop to replace the ink absorber pads and reset the counter so the error goes away. If you bypass the error, the ink will fill up and leak out or ruin the printer sensors. The absorbers cover the entire bottom of the printer and require complete disassembly to remove.

Make sure you removed the protective film on the cartridges.I've seen this alot on new installs.Next clean the print catridge contacts with a clean moist (very little) cloth ,then dry cloth. It may work, Good Luck.
