Take the reimbursement because the minute scratch is not effecting the performance and you are the only one who is aware of the condition. As for the noise, a bit of One Lube spray on the hinge will take care of that. One Lube is a special oil/silicone application that works on all moving parts that tend to make noise, and it lasts far longer than all other products. Look for it on the internet, or ACE Hardware.

You can check out outlet like sears or scratch and dent..(it there is one in your area) they come w/a 1yr warranty... where if you buy one from people you have to know what you are getting.. if you paid 150 for one w/no warranty.. the outlet I see them for around 250 for a deceit unit.. good luck..

The "check filter" light comes on just when I start the drying cycle the light goes away but the "Cooling" light comes on and stays on throughout the drying cycle, clothes stay damp thus a second drying cycle. Due to this annoying problem with my LGDLE2512W my laundry time has doubled, taking over 3 hours and a high gas bill just for a medium size load of laundry....
