Question about Mitsubishi WD-62525 62" Rear Projection HDTV

Blinking green timer light and fan turning on randomly, now no power at all

I have a WD-62530 that I got from Costco about 2 years ago. Last Wednesday morning it worked fine, came home from work and the timer light was flashinh green and the fan kept turning on and off. IT wouldn't turn on and had no sound. I unplugged it and was out of town for the weekend came back today and now nothing, not even the green timer light when I plugged it back in. Anyone have any ideas?

SYMPTOM: Power LED does not stop blinking after plug in.
CURE: Check C81A2, C81A3, C81B3 and C81B4 (1000 uFD, 16V, 105C) on the DM PCB.
Check C8F19, C8F21, C8F22 and C8F27 (1000 uFD, 16V, 105C) on the FMT PCB.
If any are bad, replace all of them with part # 181P734030 (680 uFD, 16V, 105C).
thanks

Hello
make a System Reset process. To do this;
If the TV will not respond to either the remote control or the front panel controls and/or will not power Off, press the SYSTEM RESET button with a pointed item like the end point of a paperclip. The TV will turn Off and the TIMER light will flash quickly for about one minute. When the TIMER light stops flashing, you may again turn on the TV. The changes you made the last time the TV was on before you used the SYSTEM RESET button may be lost, however, the changes that were previously saved are not lost.
OK.

I would suggest it is a ballast problem. You can check supply of 5 volts to ballast's small 5 pin connector (trigger voltage) and about 300V-330V to large 2pin connector. If both voltages present at the start and lamp is working with in another TV - it is bad ballast.

Blinking Green Timer Light

I suspect the lamp area is VERY dirty as is the cabinet's filters and fans. This causes great stress on your tv and lamp. Take the time to clean all of them fully. Is the unit in a dirty area? or in a high temp area? DLP's dont like high temp or contaminated areas as they are NOT air sealed units.

Lamp problem

The DM is failing to complete the boot sequence thats why the power led is continuously blinking green. The V26 DLP DM repair kit will usually repair that issue you can get the kit at the following link which includes the replacement capacitors and step by step instructions with pictures on how to do the repair.Its listed under the repair kits category.

TV was working earlier, today came home no green power light no nothing

I looked up the manual online - after you replace the bulb, you need to reset the bulb life timer. Using the TV remote push the menu button, SETUP menu, select the lamp reminder option to reset the hours to zero. That might help the status indicators.
