Question about Whirlpool LGQ9858PG Gas Dryer
Dryer turns but won't heat at all. The air flow is fine. I changed the igniter and it still won't heat. It stopped heating all of the sudden, it had been working fine.
Hi thanks for the question .the problem you have is with the thermal fuse. located at the back. remove back panel . on the air duct, on left side, you will see a small plastic piece, with 2 blue wires to it. replace this part. and clean all air venting to the outside. as dirty vents can cause the thermal fuse to fail. thanks the appliance doc

Tips for a great answer:
If you are having problems with your gas dryer not heating the most common problem is that the ignitor goes bad. Even though it glows sometimes it is still not working properly.
