Question about Washing Machines
You can reset the motor on the newer GE models and it may solve your problem. To reset the motor unplug your washer for about 1 minute. After plugging in open and close the lid 7-8 times rapidly. The motor will reset and it may begin to work. If it does not call for factory service. You still have a warranty and any attempted internal repairs you attempt will void your warranty. If you were in my area of Tennessee I could send a service tech to your home for no charge to repair the problem. For Ge customer service call 1-800 GE CARES .... They can schedule a repair for you at no cost to you. Good luck and I hope this will FixYa, and dont forget to rate me.
