I have an ET1352G-03w that will read discs but not start applications. What could be wrong?

My computer shows it reads discs and sounds like it's trying to start but will not open any games or applications. I have tried to restore the system settings, install an external DVD driver, and installed the newest NVIDIA GeForce graphics driver. I don't know what else could possibly be wrong.

My Toshiba Blu-Ray player, BDX 2700, will start to load a movie but it stays at 00:00:00 and it won't continue or play. What's wrong?

either a mechanism problem---disc not turning etc or an electronic issue --someone would have to open the unit and insert a disc to see what is happening----also unlikely but possible the optical pickup that reads the discs is dirty or near failure---this will usually show up first on blu ray before a regular DVD.

Hi this is peter i have a problem hat i nt figer out. trying to install Punch Home and Land Premium i get this-- Error 1305.Error reading From file C: Program Files\Punch! Home and Land Premium\ tool...

Hello peter4927,

An, "Error 1305" message mean that; your computer is unable to read the "Program Disc" properly.

This error can occur if your CD or DVD is damaged, dirty, or caused by dust.

This can happen, if another program is "preventing your computer from reading the "Program!"
You will also receive this error if the "Disc Drive" is damaged or dirty.
Try cleaning the "Disc" first!
"Use a Disc Cleaner, to clean the CD-ROM / DVD Drive.
Place the "Program Disc in the Disk Drive; then "Restart the Computer!"
This will have the CD, or DVD start-up {Automatically}.
Next, you can try to start the "Disc" by using the "Auto-Run."
To do so; place the 'Disc' in the "Disc Drive Tray."
Next, [right click] on the "Computer Icon" to open the 'computer window'.
Now, right click, on the Disc Drive, and select the either, "Open, Explore or {Auto-run}.
Hopefully it will start.
Repeat each action if necessary!

Im not an expert on CD drives but I have had this case happen in many times. If it sounds like its starting then randomly stops it sound more of a hardware disk problem. You may want to try reinstalling drivers or getting a new computer.
