How do I change out the fuser fixing unit on a Kyocera FS3900 DN

1. Draw the rear unit.
2. Insert a flat-blade screwdriver to push the
fuser lock (gray colored) on the rear unit and
the fuser unit is separated from the rear unit
(rails).
Do it both ends of the rear unit.
3. Check or replace the fuser unit and refit all
the removed parts.
Place the fuser unit on the rear unit (rails)
and push the fuser lock so that the fuser
lock catches the fuser unit.
Do it for the both ends of the fuser unit.

The fuser unit needs to be replaced. (fixing unit) If it already has a new fuser unit, there is a piece of metal on the back side of the door that pushes a micro-switch when the door is closed. the switch is above the right side of the fuser when looking at the fuser straight on. you can see the **** on the plastic cover that covers the connectors of the fusers. make sure that the piece of metal is pushing on that switch. If it is pushing on the switch then the switch needs to be replaced. Hope this helps.

Error fuser unit hl-5350Dn

The fuser unit is located at the rear side of the printer.
Fuser unit error indicates one/more of the following.
1. The fuser roller/film life is over. Replace with new one
2. The fuser film is torn. Replace with new one.
3. Fuser heater is burnt. Replace the heater.
4. Fuser thermal sensor is open. Replace it.

Paper is stuck under the thermal unit and cannot be removed. The unit probably has to be removed to get at the paper and we need instructions how.

First you must remove the cover for the duplexing drawer below the fuser drawer. It will allow you to fully extend the fuser drawer to remove the fuser unit. You have to remove the 3 front covers of the fuser drawer, remove the three black screws that secure the fuser motor, then the yellow cover to access then two screws that secure the fuser unit to the drawer. But you must unplug the connectors you see in front of the fuser unit. I believe there are 5 connectors that need to be unplugged. Don't forget to unplug the connector below the fuser unit. This is the sensor that tell the fuser shield its home position. You fully extend the drawer by looking at each side of the drawer and push in the leaf springs you see and pull the drawer out further. Remove the two screws you see on the top of the fuser and gently remove the fuser unit. Take your time and all should go well.

Look on page 115 under maintenence. Follow the instructions down to where it says Belt Unit, instead, find Fuser Unit then continue with reset instructions. Hope this helps.

Replacing Brother MFC-8440 Fuser

To remove the fuser - remove the tray at the bottom and the back tray (4 screws, 2 either side) lift out the phone line box on the right (looking from the back - 2 screws) and swing it out of the way (careful as cable isn't too long) 2 screws either side of the fuser (long black object at the bottom) unplug the halogen lamp (white plug on left) and small 5 wire plug on right, and lift out fuser unit.

Big noise

If the printer was not making the noise before you replaced the fuser unit I would try the following:

1. remove and re-seat the new fuser unit and try a test print.

2. if it still makes noise, remove the new fuser unit and replace the old fuser unit and try a test print. (if you waited untill the printer refused to print on the old fuser this might not work).

If you don't get the noise with the old fuser, then it's possible that the new fuser is defective. You could try returning it for replacement at this point. If you still get the noise with the old fuser, then possibly it is not seated correctly or the latches aren't locked or there is some other unrelated issue.
