Question about Dell Dimension 4500S PC Desktop
I recently got a refurbished Dell. I left it on over the weekend and now the power light is blinking and it seems to be in some kind of sleep mode. I tried usibng the wakeup key on the keyboard, turning it off and on but nothing works.
Okie do one thing ...
disconnect the power from the back of the tower and than hold down the power button for 10 seconds and than connect the power and start the system

I would open the unit and verify that the CPU and power supply fans are working.
If they are, I would clear CMOS.
For the following steps, power off unit for each step:
If that does not work, I would (1) reseat the memory, (2) reseat the adapters which you may have installed.
