Heating problem wff 1401 make not heating up the water

Bosch WFF washing machine error codes:

E1 - The door is not closed and cannot therefore lock.
E2 - Washer will not fill with water.
E3 - Washing machine not heating.
E4 - Washing machine won't empty.
E5 - Fault in the motor drive circuit.
E6 - Unexpected heating.
E7 - NTC thermistor open or short circuit.

Please note that the codes for the WFF range of Bosch machines differs from other ranges.

Is there a code that pops up on your panel and if so what is the code?
More than likely it's in your panel but, it should pop a code.

Make sure the filter is clean, this is located at the bottom front right of washer, unscrew anti-clockwise to remove and clean.

If you have not already done so, then check and clean filter located at bottom front right of washer behind drop down cover.
If it still does not empty, then it is either blocked between the pump and tge waste outlet, or the pump itself could be faulty.

Could possibly be the heating element on its way out.

There can be 2 reasons. The centre section dispenses the fabric softener in the last rinse. It works on a syphon effect.
If it is not assembled correctly the water flows over the side to avoid a flood and leaves the middle section full at the end. Make sure the inner pipe is inside the outer pipe and that both are completely clear of softener residue. As you have just reassembled it this is the most likely cause.
The second reason is the water inlet can become blocked therefore not creating sufficient flow to create a syphon effect. It gets blocked with black gunk and needs to be cleaned with pipe cleaners or a long cable tie. There are 4 rectangular holes above the centre section, near the front. They can be seen easily if you take the drawer out.

Funny enough check the fuse again you could have installed a duff

make sure it's 13amp or on the fuse it will say 13A

DO that untill lights come on on the front or something.

Or if it comes to the worse and its under 8yrs old get it covered by domestic & genreal

of cause don't be stupid and tell them that its broken at the time of taking out the cover, lol

get it covered leave it a week or so then report it to them as faulty

With no clothes in the washer start a program. The washe level is below the door glass. the rinse level comes up 3 cm on the glass. The washer is designed to be water efficent. If you are not getting water this high, look at the pressure switch hose, maybe it is restricted and causing the pressure to be held in the washer.

heater element may have gone, when you manually advance the settings you are skipping the heat cycle.
