Have a honeywell thermo 7 day .how to change for centerage to farenheight

1. Turn system off.

2. Simultaneously press up & down arrows for 3 seconds.

3. You will then see a display with a large number to the left and a small number to the right.

4. You should then see a large #1 and a small #1.

5. You want to change that 1(Celsius) to a 0(Fahrenheit).

6. Do that by pressing up or down arrow.

7. Once you've changed that small 1 to a 0 you then press both the up and down buttons for 1 second about three more times to take thermostat back to original screen.

8. Now you should see your room temperature reading in Fahrenheit.

Hello Vinny Fear not the thermostat has a built in (factory) deadband of 1 or 2 degrees on purpose to keep the unit from shortcycling. It needs to maintain a minimun run time for the equipment's sake. This is normal and can't be adjusted.

Verify 24 volts at the low voltage transformer inside the air handler. If it is OK, jump out the red/green and yellow thermostat wires. If everything comes on, replace the thermostat.

A/C unit

First check the breaker. If it has been tripped then you will surely need a good contractor.

If it has not tripped then double check the thermostat settings and batteries (if applicable). Make sure the fan is set to auto, The cool function has been selected and the temperature has been set low enough for the unit to come on.

If this still does not work then you will still need a technician. This is because there are many more possible failures all of which are relatively dangerous and technical. Good luck!
